Thank you Circuit Cubes for sponsoring this post so Mom Always Knows could bring you this review. All opinions are 100% our own.
My kids love to do things with their Dad! Doesn’t matter what it is and how simple since they adore their Dad! I am always looking for fun things for them to do together that are educational, fun and safe. This is not always an easy task as you know so I was so excited when we were asked to try to make bright lights with educational stem Circuit Cubes kits! These kits were right up our alley since the projects are endless, fun and also educational!
They have several different kits to build like Whacky Wheels or Smart Art but we picked the Bright Lights Kit because we wanted to make a flash light! When the box came my kids were so excited and wanted to pull it all out and put it together. I had to convince them to wait for their Dad to get home. Of course, this is something any adult can do with them but Dad loves to build so he was picked for the task.
The box is colorful and the items inside are all very nice quality. Packaging was great and secure and even included a cute little canvas bag that can be used for other small items! The directions are very easy to follow to put your kit together and like I mentioned the possibilities are endless! We created a flashlight but with this stem kit you can make a luminary to welcome friends, design a light saber to fight the evil empire or beam a cool superhero GOBO on the ceiling.
Everyone had lots of fun putting this together and my husband got to talk to them about science and technology through hands-on exploration since this is a STEM/STEAM learning toy! The kids could actually see the technology behind what they were creating and see how circuits work. The kit also works with all major-brand building bricks and blocks! Just click together our modular Battery, Motor, and LED cubes to energize your creations. My kids were breaking out our Legos and going to town!
Mom Always Knows gives Circuit Cubes a thumbs up! You can check them out here and tell them we sent you!
Oh wow toys these days, I would love to go back as a kid! But since I can’t, I would enjoy this with my son. He likes to tinker with things and I see a future engineer in him. Thanks for sharing this! Would love to get a hold of this kit.
So fun! I used to love activities like these growing up.
What an awesome activity! I’ll have to remember for when my daughter gets old enough.
This looks exactly like the type of thing my son would love, thanks for sharing, so neat!
We have done boxes similar to this, but I LOVE the STEM content it teaches. Next kid birthday, I might have to order one!
