Who are the Tiddlytubbies
The eight Tiddlytubbies are smaller “sibling” figures to the classic Teletubbies and live with them in their own special part of the Home Dome. With their own individual colors and characters, just like the Teletubbies, they also love to play and learn. When it’s play time a voice trumpet will announce,“Time for Tiddlytubbies” and the Tiddlytubbies crawl into their own playroom where the Teletubbies rush to greet them. Sometimes they even come inside the playroom for “Tiddlytubbies Playtime” and play but sometimes they just stay quiet so they can watch the babies fall asleep on their musical roundy-round bed during “Tiddlytubbies Sleepybyes.” Kids ages 2-5 will love watching this YouTube show for kids about the adorable Tiddlytubbies!
How Tiddlytubbies Play
Inside the toy-filled play room, the walls glow the colors of the Teletubbies and whoever’s color glows twice means it’s that Teletubby’s turn to play with the Tiddlytubbies. I especially love that the episodes actually help my kids with their colors and shapes and that they are learning valuable lessons through the role-playing like how to take turns and play simple games. I can trust the Teletubbies, Tiddlytubbies and WildBrain who produces and manages the channel behind the scenes. They work really hard to make sure our kids are only exposed to the good stuff on YouTube and not the bad.
Simple games are played where a Teletubby does an action and then the Tiddlytubbies copy them. Lots of fun songs are sung, words are learned and toys played with during playtime like The Tiddlynoo , a toy version of the Noo-Noo that Daa Daa likes to ride on and the The Swing Ball, a red ball attached to a stand shaped like Tinky Winky’s aerial. Reinforcing color learning again, the Bouncy Swing is yellow and the Green Ball is green.
