Kids have the opportunity to burn off some of their energy in the colorful Crayola playground.
Heritage Farmstead
The working Heritage Farmstead enables guests to take a look at the region’s history from 1890 into the 20th century. Tour the historic buildings and see live demonstrations of the skills required to live back in the day. Stroll through the museum and gaze upon some of the more than 10,000 artifacts and objects that were once commonly used. The farm also features a menagerie of live animals to the delight of younger guests.
Oak Point Park
The beautiful park encompasses 800 acres and welcomes guests to take nature hikes, enjoy a picnic or embark on water-based activities. Go cycling or perhaps take a canoe or a kayak onto the water and get a unique perspective of the terrain. Adrenaline junkies accept the challenge that the Go Ape center provides. The site features a variety of rope ladders, unique crossings, Tarzan swings and five ziplines. The location is divided into five different areas. Each has its own set of challenges. Get a bird’s eye view while up in the forest canopy and enjoy the adventure. The preserve additionally features an outdoor amphitheater that regularly hosts concerts and festivals throughout the year.
The Void
Become one of the characters in a popular animated film or sci-fi movie by entering the world of virtual reality. The full-body experience enables guests to immerse themselves in otherworldly environments and interact with all they see. Stroll along virtual streets, explore mysterious tunnels and engage in combat with enemy beings. The Void is found at the CineMark Theater and is appropriate for guests aged 10 years and up.
