Since one of my favorite days of the year, Mother’s Day, is right around the corner I wanted to take the time to talk about someone very special to me; my Mom! Thank you so much Hefty® for sponsoring this post and allowing me to honor the strongest person I know. Being a Mom and rocking it through motherhood gets hard sometimes so we need to be strong, not only on the outside, but on the inside. My ultra strong Mom taught me many things but the most important and cherished one is inner strength.

Inner strength is an inherit trait but also a very much learned one over time. As women and as mothers, we need to be strong on the inside for lots of reasons like showing our kids love and patience. We need to be strong on the inside to teach our kids morals and manners. We need to be strong on the inside when this nasty world delivers such a devastating blow to us and all we want to do is curl up in a little ball. My Mom taught me this inner strength, not only by her words over the years, but her actions.

Remember your kids are watching you and everything you do just like I watched my own mother. Time and time again I saw my mother’s true inner strength, which I assume she got from my grandmother, who was also a very strong warrior who rocked motherhood! I watched her when my dad had a seizure while driving 60 mph down the highway with all of us in the car and she had to jump over in the driver’s seat and pull the car to safety. I watched her work full-time most of my childhood to help support us so we could buy all the extra things we needed. I watched her when she hugged us everyday and tucked us in every night and I cried along her side when she lost her only son. These are the real moments of inner strength that she passed on to me.

This Mother’s Day make sure you celebrate your own mom or special women in your life who possess special mom superhero strength traits! Hefty® is doing just that also by teaming up with John Cena and his mom Carol Cena (she knows a thing or two about ultra-strength) in honor of Mother’s Day! Hefty® loves strong moms, who tackle strong messes on a daily basis and just like Hefty® Ultra Strong™ trash bags, today’s moms are Ultra Strong in everything they do.

With so many messes and lots to pick up you really need Hefty® Ultra Strong™ trash bags in your household! I love that these trash bags are no joke with their triple action technology to resist tears, punctures and leaks and a drawstring that is break resistant so the bag won’t fall inside the can! Since Mom Always Knows best, especially when it comes to spending wisely and making smart decisions for her family, she picks “Hefty Hefty Hefty” strength at a low price. Who doesn’t love savings and it helps that you get this 100% satisfaction guarantee: Hefty® can handle all your trash bag needs, or your money back. I always make sure to have them on hand!

I am forever grateful to my Mom and what she taught me. Happy Mother’s Day to all the very special moms out there from the Mom Always Knows team and Hefty®! Keep up the juggle and keep on rocking motherhood, you can do it!

I love your message of inner strength!
This post was so fun to read! The older I get the more I realize how much my mom and I are alike. Now that I’m bringing my own child into this world, I really appreciate all of the things she has done for me and all that she has taught me.
Our mom’s really are amazing aren’t they?! The story of your mom having to take the wheel…wow!
thanks for sharing those warm thoughts about your mother.
Hooray for wonderful women who not only shape our lives, but who also show us how much we can really handle when the going gets tough. I’m so glad you have such wonderful women in your life. Moms are the best!
