Ever feel confused or frustrated about who you are or the God-given talents you have? I know I do all the time so that is why I am loving “Out of My Hands,” Mallary Hope’s debut album! She hits it out of the park with her first full-length project with themes of self-worth and identity found in each song.
This seventeen-track album has so many great songs that will inspire you and just all around make you feel good about yourself! Hope says, “Our worth and identity are not rooted in what we do, our worth and identity are rooted in God and who He created us to be.” Amen to that sister!

In a crazy world that tells us who we should be or what we should feel, her words are so refreshing and such great messages. You can feel her heart when you listen to her songs and her beautiful soprano voice will speak right to you!
My kids and I jam out in the car on the way to school many mornings to “Me,” which was released last fall. A song Hope wrote about her own quest to find a positive self-image in God’s eyes and not the world! “Me” is a song about being just enough the way you are, the way God created us. Loving it, especially loving that my little girls love it and hopefully the message is sinking in their little brains.
Other favorites of ours on Out Of My Hands, set to release on April 26 are “My God” and “My Love.” These lyrics from “My God” are so powerful and true, they give me goosebumps! He does know our names and every hair on our head!
My God, He’s the giver of endless grace and
The King above all creation
And still, He knows my name, yeah
