Hanging with friends
I will never forget my first visit to visit Panama City Beach when I was just twenty years old, in college and new to traveling. Eight of my friends and I decided to head on down to the beach for Spring Break 1998! I flew in to nearby Pensacola Beach and was picked up by my friends who made the drive from Missouri. I marveled in awe at the beauty of the Florida coast the whole two hour drive on Hwy 98 from Pensacola to PCB! During that drive and the week we spent together in PCB some truly wonderful memories were made that I have never forgotten!
Sense of Community
During our time in PCB we felt like part of the family! The community here is just like a tight knit family where the locals all know each other and are 100% committed to making sure the tourists have the best experiences possible while they are visiting. For this reason and the many connections people make with others at PCB is probably why people return year after year. Don’t believe me? Go for a visit, make it yours and you will find out real quick why the sense of community here is one of my favorite things about PCB.
Amazing Beaches
Ever hear there are no good beaches in the continental USA? Not true as my favorite beach is here, ! With 27 miles and almost 100 access points to the best white beaches in all the Sunshine State, PCB does not disappoint! Panama City Beach was very fortunate regarding the effects of Hurricane Michael so the sugary-white sand beaches are still open for play and the water is still an amazing turquoise color! Laying on this beach reading a good book is my favorite thing to do but if you are into other beach activities there is always parasailing, snorkeling, swimming, dolphin-spotting and jet skis to keep you plenty busy here! Time to visit the visit the Real. FUN. Beach.
