What is Kiddyzuzaa?
Kiddyzuzaa is an animated series of episodes about modern day princesses, with two formats, that you can find on YouTube or Amazon. For kids ages three to four, Princesses in Real Life, a live action series is available with Princess characters on truly wacky adventures. Real life topics that kids can relate to like losing baby teeth or bedtime routines are acted out in funny ways. The 2nd format, Kiddyzuzaa Land, is an animated series for kids four to seven-years-old that has more complex story lines since this group is a bit older and can understand. The characters are the same in both formats but their outfits and ethnicities differ a bit between the two, however, the main theme of imagination is present in both.
Your kids will watch all kinds of adventures where the girls will create wacky inventions, conjure up magic, play games, make messes and all have to work together to save Kiddyzuzaa Land from the evil witch, Malice. Friendship, games, adventure and good vs. evil are all themes that the episodes will follow. Never dangerous or inappropriate, Kiddyzuzaa will keep your kids interested because it is sweet, funny and always ends with a humorous punchline.

My kids love watching the episodes because the princesses are just pretty normal characters and don’t all wear tiaras and pretty dresses. As a mom, I love that my kids love watching it and I also love that WildBrain (creates and broadcasts kids’ video entertainment) keeps it simple and doesn’t send messages to my girls that they should be waiting around or dreaming about a prince charming.
The original live action videos in ’Kiddyzuzaa – Princesses in Real Life’ and Kiddyzuzaa Land (animated series) teach kids to have their own unique interests and inspires them to find and pursue what makes them happy- even if it’s unconventional. I believe this is so super important in today’s society where so much is focused on being or making someone else happy! Our kids need to grow up knowing it is okay to be who they are!
Kiddyzuzaa will also encourage your childs imagination and you will see this coming out when they play. My kids will run around the yard, pretending to be a certain princess while they act out scenes they have just watched.
Who are the Kiddyzuzaa Characters
There are four diverse Princess’s– Olivia, Esme, Lilliana, and Isabella who must work together to save Kiddyzuzaa Land from the hands of the evil witch Malice. The characters are all very different, which means all girls can relate to at least one of them. Each episode centers around Malice who is always attempting to ruin the fun (and day.) Of course good always conquers evil and relatable lessons are taught throughout the show that encourages girls to break the mold and be themselves!
Meet Olivia
Leader of the pack and the one who always brings the group together. She is kind, loves to have fun but never waivers on her strong morals. She is the only princess who wears a tiara and uses her very powerful wand for magic.
Meet Esme
Ms. Mischievous, I like to call her, loves to make a mess and is the troublemaker of the bunch. Esme and Olivia are BFF’s despite the fact that most of her magic spells end up backfiring.
Meet Lilliana
She is a creative problem solver who is frequently getting the girls out of trouble and the first to point out when something is wrong. She loves to have fun, is very smart, perceptive and uses the magical screwdriver she invented to conjure up spells.
Meet Isabella
Ms. Classy and sassy loves to live her life in style and can be aloof at times. She loves to have fun but does not like to get messy at all but instead be pampered. Her ability to control objects, people and animals with her mind is my favorite magical ability of the princesses.
Meet Malice
An evil witch who is honestly not very good at it. Depending on her mood you might see her irritating the princesses or even cooperating with them! She can cast spells with her hands, can fly and even teleport from one place to another making her magic very powerful.
